Step 1: Visit Watumishi Portal

Step 2: Go to the Registration Section

Step 3: Enter the Personal Details

- Check Number: The first section requires your unique Check Number. This number is provided to you by your employer.
- National ID: Enter your national identification number in the next section.

Step 1: Go to the Utumishi Portal

Step 2: Enter Username and Password
Your screen will now display a new page. A user name (your check number) must be entered in the upper section, and a password must be entered in the lower section.

The ESS uses it as an evaluation tool. By setting up tasks, employers and employees can work together. Data about the employee is also managed and updated. Enter your Supervisor’s name in the “Set Supervisor” button on PEPMIS to set him up.
Alerts in PEPMIS
When your Supervisor assigns you a task, EMS Utumishi will send you an alert. Alerts come in three types.
- Green Alert: Your Supervisor will receive this alert when you have enough time to complete a task.
- Yellow Alert: If you receive this alert, you have a limited amount of time to complete your task and submit it to your supervisor.
- Red Alert: Your deadline is approaching rapidly, and you must complete your task as soon as possible.
